Abstract
Therapeutic relation In hematology clinic is a specific way of contact and communications between patient, his family, physician and therapeutic team. The main question that occurs in therapeutic relation is how to inform about disease incurability, complications, poor prognosis and, in consequence, forthcoming death? What kind of information about the disease, its treatment and prognosis would patient like to know and what should he be informed? It is extremely difficult for families, patients and also professionals to have a serious conversation about suffering, dying and death. As the disease progresses, interpersonal relations become more and more difficult, often shallow, superficial, formal, less and less humane. There is variety of reactions for an incurable disease diagnosis, no reaction is typical or right. Some of sufferers need to talk and share their feelings with relatives while others prefer to be left by themselves. For some of them it is crucial to meet other patients and share experience regarding their disease. It is worth to respect the way of emotion manifestation. However if it precludes him from having reasonable approach to treatment it is worth to be consulted with experienced physician or psychologist.
