Abstract
A physician support group in pediatric hematology oncology was created 10 years ago in Ãle-de-France. Main rules were: confidentiality, supervision by psychologist, kindliness, regularity and voluntary participation. Main objectives of the group was to share experiences on relationship problem between patients family and doctors in order to: report emotional, distress or difficulties felt by doctors, avoid burn-out syndrome, bring a better understanding of patients and physicians relations, share solutions. The group meet 6 to 8 times a year. The report detailed the topics discussed in the group and the major benefits reported by their members.
