Abstract
Natural disasters can serve as a microbe's paradise. Various infectious diseases have been reported as a result of flooding, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, tornadoes, and droughts. Crowded living conditions, disruption in water supplies, and downed electrical services due to disasters can contribute to the spread of infectious agents. This article will focus on the occurrence of infectious diseases associated with natural disasters.
