Abstract
Invasive fungal infections may be difficult to diagnose and equally challenging to treat. In the last few years, a number of new antifungal agents have become available that have expanded therapeutic options for patients with invasive fungal infections. What is yet unclear is whether these medications will also lead to improved patient survival.
