Abstract
Infliximab, a tumor necrosis factor-α inhibitor, is increasingly used for the therapy of different inflammatory conditions. We report the first case of cryptococcal meningitis in a patient treated with infliximab and other immunosuppressive agents, and review a further 5 reported cryptococcal infections. All of them involved fungal pneumonia. Outcome was favorable in all cases.
