Abstract
Haematological disorders, both benign and malignant, may present with osteoarticular complaints. Overlapping rheumatological symptoms can easily mislead the treating physician away from the underlying haematological illness. Suspecting and diagnosing the primary blood disorder is crucial in these patients. In this article, we review the spectrum of haematological disorders commonly associated with arthropathy, their clinical presentation and management. We will further highlight the common diagnostic pitfalls that will help the treating clinician in managing such children.
