Abstract
The study demonstrated that multi-centre ICU surveillance using HELICS CRI definitions was practical, feasible and provided clinically relevant information. CRI surveillance in ICUs, although labour intensive, is recommended to reduce CRI and allow ongoing evaluation of processes aimed at CRI reduction.
