Abstract
Central nervous system infections in children result from the hematogenous dissemination of Mycobacterium tuberculosis from primary pulmonary infection and the formation of small subpial and subependymal foci in the brain and spinal cord, causing meningitis or tuberculoma. The general principles of diagnostic and therapeutic approach to these tubercular infections are discussed in this article.
