Abstract
Pulmonary alveolar microlithiasis is an uncommon disease of unknown aetiology, and is characterised by the presence of multiple sub-pleural and intra-alveolar microcalcifications. We present the case of a patient with rheumatoid arthritis and chronic renal disease, but with no respiratory symptoms.
