Abstract
Hereditary multiple exostoses is a rare disease of genetic origin clearly established. It is characterized by the appearance of hard and painless masses mainly in long bones of the lower extremities. Conventional radiology allows the diagnosis of the disease. Treatment of small and asymptomatic lesions is observation. However large lesions or those causing compressive symptoms are amenable to surgery.
