Abstract
Scleritis is a rare disease characterized by inflammation of sclera and underlying infectious or systemic disease. Severe cases can compromise vision and cause scleral necrosis and eye perforation. c-ANCA associated vasculitis, a systemic syndrome could cause scleritis. Traditional treatment consists of antinflammatory and immunomodulators administration. Refractory cases could be treated with monoclonal antibodies. We report the case of a woman with diffuse necrotizing anterior scleritis associated to c-ANCA refractory to immunosupressants, such as cyclophosphamide in which only Rituximab could induce remission
