Abstract
Following a brief review of mastocytosis, we discuss the association between this disease and anaphylaxis caused by hymenoptera venoms. Allergy to hymenoptera venoms is definitely influenced clinically, biologically and therapeutically by an interaction with mastocytosis. This association is not exceptional; indeed, it is estimated that it exists in about 10% of venom-induced reactions. It therefore requires a particular therapeutic approach.
