Abstract
Allergic contact dermatitis, although rare in comparison with other skin problems in people who participate in sports, should not be ignored. The equipment responsible for this problem varies depending on the type of sport practiced. Whatever the sport, the allergens most often responsible are rubber additives, glues and resins; but all the usual topical skin products must not be overlooked.
