Abstract
Interventional ultrasonography is more and more used in rheumatology. It is important to have first a good notion of intra-articular injections using the usual anatomical landmarks, and a good knowledge of ultrasonography as a diagnostic tool. This review aims at recalling the basic principles of interventional sonography in rheumatology, the rules of hygiene, the actions to be taken in case of anticoagulant treatment. Finally as an illustration, we will show the ways to do an articular injection of the hip.
