Abstract
												This review focuses on the use of glucocorticoids in rheumatoid arthritis, from the introduction of these drugs until the most recent evidence, which allows us to recommend glucocorticoid use to achieve more rapid clinical response, greater functional capacity and reduced radiological progression.
