Abstract
Little has changed in the treatment of myositis and this entity continues to be treated with high-dose corticosteroids. However, increasing insight into the pathophysiology of myositis, as well as carefully designed multicenter clinical trials, should result in better therapeutic strategies and recommendations in the future.
