Abstract
Poor knowledge amongst trekkers and guides determined poor uptake, and inappropriate prophylaxis usage amongst trekkers. We believe that to improve prophylaxis uptake and use, and hence reduce trekkers' morbidity and mortality, policy makers must deliver trekker-targeted educational interventions in Nepal.
