Abstract
ETMS alone does not result in functional changes. However, it may elicit sufficient active affected wrist and finger extension increases to permit possible participation in mCIMT, which can result in marked functional gains. This study is among the first to show improved function in stroke patients who initially had little hand motor control, and it is among the first to effectively combine 2 singularly efficacious regimens.
