On histochemical study it was found that the PAS reactivity was stronger in diabetic placenta as compared to normal. Sudan Black reactivity was higher among diabetic placenta in comparison to normal placenta.ConclusionsIt is concluded that distinct histological and histochemical changes could be seen in placenta of diabetic pregnant females.
