El objetivo del artículo es presentar una discusión sobre la RIEB 2009 desde el ángulo de los procesos de significación. Para esto, se inicia mostrando los rasgos teórico-metodológicos del estudio; luego se habla de la RIEB como propuesta educativa, social y política que proyecta contenidos significantes que buscan reordenar el trabajo del profesorado, y posteriormente se analizan algunas significaciones producidas por los sujetos participantes en esta investigación. Se argumenta que la RIEB ha sido altamente efectiva al interpelar al profesorado sobre las posibilidades y beneficios de los cambios propuestos; sin embargo, también señalamos que tal proceso no se ha dado sin contradicciones. El texto parte del supuesto de que estudiar las significaciones docentes es pertinente para comprender las condiciones de implementación de las iniciativas de cambio en los espacios escolares.
The objective of this paper is to present a discussion on the Integral Reform of Basic Education 2009 (rieb is the Spanish acronym) from the perspective of the signification processes. To do this, the article begins by demonstrating the theoretic-methodological features of the study; it then goes on to speak of the RIEB as an educational, social and political proposal that projects meaningful content aimed at reorganizing the work of the teaching staff; thereafter, it analyses some of the significations produced by the subjects who participated in the investigation. It is argued that the rieb has been highly effective in interpolating the teaching staff with regard to the possibilities and benefits of the proposed changes; however, it is also demonstrates that the said process has not been accomplished without contradictions. The text is based on the assumption that studying teaching significance is relevant to the understanding of the implementation conditions regarding the initiatives of change within the educational environment.
