Abstract
Management of stable coronary artery disease must pursue the control and relief of symptoms and an improvement in prognosis. Lifestyle modification and control of cardiovascular risk factors must be the first step, followed by a farmacological treatment including symptom-relief drugs and drugs for prevention of atherothrombotic events. Revascularization treatment improves prognosis and contributes to symptom relief, either percutaneously or surgically.
