Abstract
Coronary heart disease is going to be a chronic condition in the patient who has suffered a myocardial infarction (MI), being predisposed to an increased risk of coronary events and premature death. Overall long-term management of these patients is the responsibility of the primary care physician, but a close collaboration between these and cardiologists will be very beneficial for the prognosis of these patients
