Abstract
Lung cyst can be defined as an abnormal pulmonary parenchymal space, low attenuation in high-resolution computed tomography, air filled, well-defined edges and thin walled Unlike other solid organs, the finding of cysts in the lung requires search for an underlying cause. There are three main entities that are associated with the presence of multiple and diffuse pulmonary cysts that make the differential diagnosis: lymphangioleiomyomatosis, Langerhans cell histiocytosis and centrilobular pulmonary emphysema.
