Abstract
The prevalence of mental disorders in children and adolescents is estimated between 5 and 22%. Between 4 and 6% of children and adolescents will have a severe mental disorder. Moreover, up to 50% of mental disorders began in childhood or adolescence and will continue into adulthood. That's why it's highly relevant the early detection and intervention. While the diagnosis at this age is a complex issue, systematic detection of risky symptoms, and the correct referring of these patients to the correct professional or more appropriate device, it is an achievable goal and a target of this protocol.
