Abstract
Related arthritis inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is presented by 9-53% of patients, in mono or oligoarticular, asymmetric and predominantly in the lower limbs. The use of NSAIDs is the first therapeutic step. The disease-modifying drugs, such as sulfasalazine, are effective in refractory patients. Biological therapy with anti-TNF-alpha has been shown to be highly effective in patients refractory.
