RésuméIl existe 9 types histologiques carcinomes rénaux. Le plus fréquent est le carcinome à cellules rénales claires, dont le traitement est bien codifié et qui a pour principaux diagnostics différentiels le carcinome kystique multiloculaire à cellules claires ou le carcinome associé à une translocation Xp11–2. Les traitements sont possiblement différents dans les histologies rares, avec un possible intérêt du sorafénib dans le carcinome rénal chromophobe, des inhibiteurs de mTOR dans les carcinomes rénaux papillaires et de la chimiothérapie dans les carcinomes de Bellini.
