SummaryIn the last few years, a huge increment in the quality of scientific articles published in Brazilian Medical Journals has been observed. ResumoNos últimos anos, houve um aumento considerável na qualidade dos artigos científicos publicados em periódicos médicos brasileiros. As razões para tal incremento são muitas, incluindo a iniciativa de open access da base SciELO, a adoção do inglês por vários periódicos e, a mais relevante, o aumento em número e qualidade dos pesquisadores brasileiros. Este artigo indica os melhores artigos sobre os sistemas cardiovascular e respiratório publicados recentemente nesses periódicos.
