RésuméBien que la chirurgie ait une place limitée dans la prise en charge des patients ayant un cancer urothélial métastatique, elle peut parfois être discutée en association à la chimiothérapie. Chez les patients très symptomatiques et en cas de réponse complète, la cystectomie peut s’intégrer dans une prise en charge multimodale. L’exérèse chirurgicale des métastases peut également parfois être proposée en adjuvant à la chimiothérapie soit après réponse complète soit en cas de site récalcitrant symptomatique pour améliorer la qualité de vie.

SummaryAlthough surgery has a limited role in the management of metastatic urothelial carcinoma patients, it can be envisaged in association with chemotherapy.
