Abstract
We present the case on an 85-year old male who had a long and torpid clinical course of low back pain, which did not respond to conventional treatments. Although the patient clearly related it to an effort made, the end result was that the fracture was caused by a crushing spinal tuberculosis or Pott's disease. The aim of this paper is to review and update this really uncommon clinical pathology.
