Abstract
Carcinoid tumors are slow-growing and of neuroendocrine origin. These tumors represent a diagnostic challenge as they are often innocuous on presentation. The preferred treatment is surgery, and in cases of carcinoid disease spread, it requires a multidisciplinary approach.
