Abstract
Liver transplantation (LT) involves the surgical placement of a portion of or whole donor liver into a patient to restore hepatic function. Ultrasound is an excellent screening modality for evaluating the post-transplant liver and for the detection and follow-up of LT complications. This article reviews the role of sonography in LT.
