Abstract
Stachydrine interfered with the endoplasmic reticulum stress mediated apoptosis pathway by decreasing caspase-12 expression and inhibiting caspase-9 activation. Ultimately renal tubular epithelial cell apoptosis was suppressed and renal interstitial fibrosis development was postponed.
