Abstract
•A test–retest study of the TIMPSI in preterm and term born infants.•Reliability assessed by intra-class correlation coefficient.•Result showed excellent reliability of the TIMPSI performed at two time points.•The TIMPSI can be recommended for screening development of the most fragile infants.
ObjectiveTo examine test–retest reliability of the TIMPSI in infants at risk for impaired functional motor performance.MethodsThe TIMPSI was administered twice to 51 infants from two different hospitals in Norway.ResultsThe intra-class correlation coefficient was 0.99.ConclusionTest–retest reliability of the TIMPSI was excellent.
