Abstract
A postoperative symptomatic pelvic hematoma is not rare and is closely related to transvaginal hysterectomy. Its clinical presentation includes fever, pelvic pain, leukocytosis, thrombocytosis and occasionally liver dysfunction. Surgical outcome is generally unaffected.
