Découverte anténatale d’une dysplasie septo-optique (syndrome de De Morsier)

RésuméLes auteurs rapportent un cas de dysplasie septo-optique isolé diagnostiqué en anténatal. Anomalie cérébrale rare, elle se caractérise par une absence de septum pellucidum associée à une hypoplasie des voies et du chiasma optique à des degrés variables. La découverte en est souvent faite à l’âge adulte. Le pronostic est extrêmement large. Il est déterminé par la survenue à des degrés divers d’une insuffisance hypophysaire, un retard psychomoteur d’intensité variable avec déficit intellectuel, un trouble visuel, un trouble de la thermorégulation.

The authors report a case of septo-optic dysplasia discovered during the pregnancy without another abnormality. It's a rare cerebral abnormality that is characterized by an absence of septum pellucidum associated to a hypoplasia of ways and optic chiasm to variable degrees. Discovery is often made for adulthood. Future is extremely wide.
