Abstract
The clinical manifestation of infection with HPV is determined by multi-ple factors which include the type of HPV, the type of skin infected, the status of host immunity and smoking. The incubation period for HPV is 3 weeks to 8 months. While there is no specific anti-HPV therapy, local topical therapy, excision, cautery and laser vaporization have all been used with a range of success rates.
