Abstract
In nonobese patients, the extraperitoneal PAL is associated with shorter surgical duration, whereas the transperitoneal approach was associated with a higher number of harvested lymph nodes. As a result of improved ergonomy, the transperitoneal approach enables laparoscopic management of operative complications.
