Abstract
In this paper, a thorough analysis has been made of these imaging techniques and the results obtained in various published articles. The result of this search has revealed that, although the use of the motile-sperm organelle morphology examination (MSOME) system during the process of microinjection does not show a clear improvement in results when applied in the general population, certain groups of patients with sperm abnormalities (teratozoospermia), or with successive previous failures of ICSI may benefit highly from its application. According to the findings observed in this study, it is possible to offer to these patients some of the techniques described as an alternative to other less accessible methods, such as gamete donation, with some guarantee of success.
