Abstract
Complications of early pregnancy are common, including pregnancy loss, threatened miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, molar pregnancy and hyperemesis. There are over 30,000 ectopic pregnancies, 1600 M pregnancies and 80,000 miscarriages per year in the UK accounting for a significant proportion of healthcare resources.This review discusses the different presentations, diagnoses and management of the common problems complicating early pregnancy.
