Abstract
We present the case of a 17-year-old patient diagnosed with a giant fibroadenoma, who underwent five interventions due to multiple tumoral recurrences, with the final result of a mastectomy. The lesion was twice diagnosed as a borderline phyllodes tumor. The interest of this case lies in its exceptional clinical course. This case also illustrates the difficulty of surgical indication in some benign breast lesions with difficult histological diagnosis.
