Abstract
Intestinal atresia is the most common malformation of the small bowel. We report the case of a patient at 32 weeks of gestation who was referred to the prenatal diagnosis unit for ultrasonographic suspicion of ovarian tumor associated with polyhydramnios. Ultrasonography revealed multiple dilated fluid-filled loops with active peristaltic movements. A provisional diagnosis of jejunoileal atresia was made, which was confirmed after delivery.
