Alteración ecográfica del endometrio en mujeres menopáusicas sin metrorragia

The incidence of endometrial cancer in asymptomatic postmenopausal women with sonographic suspicion of polyp was 3.77%. Patients with this sonographic finding should undergo thorough hysteroscopy and biopsy to rule out malignancy. We believe that the cut-off value for endometrial thickness in postmenopausal women without vaginal bleeding should be determined.
