Abstract
The reported casuistics are scarce and there are discrepancies in the diagnostic criteria, underlying disease, and prenatal diagnosis. Meconium peritonitis cannot be managed by extrapolating postnatal data to prenatal findings. This entity continues to be «unknown» in prenatal diagnosis.
