RETRACTED: Failed fertilization after clinical intracytoplasmic sperm injection

In particular the following three articles were extensively plagiarized: Hum. Reprod., 19 (2004) 1587–1590, doi:10.1093/humrep/deh236, J. Clin. Invest., 118 (2008) 3671–3681, doi:10.1172/JCI36942 and Fertil. Steril., 72 (1999) 509–512, doi:10.1016/S0015-0282(99)00264-2.One of the conditions of submission of a paper for publication is that authors declare explicitly that their work is original and that text has not appeared in a publication elsewhere. As such this article represents misconduct of the scientific publishing system. The scientific community takes a very strong view on this matter and apologies are offered to readers of the journal that this was not detected during the submission process.
