Abstract
Thoracic wall invasion from local-regional recurrence of breast tumours is an infrequent event which often needs wide surgical resections that might represent an important challenge. Adjuvant therapies and previous interventions may have damaged the surrounding tissue, and therefore unusual techniques have to be considered in order to achieve an adequate result. We present a case which required reconstruction with an omental flap. Indications and surgical techniques are described.
