Five-fraction Gamma Knife radiosurgery using the Extend relocatable system for benign neoplasms close to optic pathways

The Extend system provides good repositioning accuracy and adequate immobilization of the patient's head for multisession treatment. The clinical and radiological outcomes of a series of 12 patients who underwent 59 irradiation fractions were excellent.
