Abstract
Computed radiography represents an approach to full-field digital mammography in which, unlike direct radiography (DR), a latent image is physically transferred to an image reader for processing and interpretation. The approach is applicable to existing mammographic and other radiographic units. Costs and operation applications are more variable than DR.
