Abstract
The use of intracameral vancomycin (20 μg/mL) and gentamicin (8 μg/mL) at the time of cataract surgery had no significant effect on macular thickness or visual function postoperatively. Overall, 31% of eyes showed an increase of 15 μm or greater in central retinal thickness. These patients had significantly reduced contrast sensitivity.
