Abstract
Spontaneous scleral rupture cases associated with hypotony and visual loss are rare, with only a few cases reported in the literature. Hypotony maculopathy with sclerochoroidal lesion may be the cause of such cases. Excellent outcome can be obtained with surgical diagnosis and repair.
