Abstract
Goldmann applanation tonometry remains the standard method to measure intraocular pressure (IOP) in glaucoma. IOP should be carefully measured and the causes of measurement errors should be known. Central corneal thickness (CCT) measurements are unavoidable for the management of patients with glaucoma or glaucoma suspects. More than a measurement artifact, CCT should be assessed for glaucoma.
